The Student status bar’s Apps action now opens the selector as a tab in the existing Chromium window instead of tiling a second window. Initial browser startup still uses a new window.

Verified: pinned Chromium 143/bubblewrap regression checks that the existing page and selector share a window ID while --new-window creates a different one; Student Chromium policy check and NixOS toplevel build passed. On the laptop, Khan Academy and the reopened Apps selector appeared as tabs in one full-width window. The Apps action creates a new selector tab rather than focusing the original tab.
