Summary

  • open System Updates as a dedicated page, matching Screen Auditing navigation
  • show update phase, service result, and recent journal activity
  • allow admins to choose an update branch
  • use a templated root-owned systemd service for selected branches
  • expand the launcher status area for multi-line errors

Verification

  • nix flake check --no-build
  • full NixOS build succeeds
